The Hagu Hagu Mii! Line Gets Its First Figures

The name reads as a play on "hug hug me," and that is the entire pitch. Hagu Hagu Mii! (はぐはぐみー!) is an original prize line from Sega Lucky Kuji Online, Sega's web-based lottery where every ticket wins a prize, built around characters redrawn in soft, fluffy full-body costumes. For the TV anime's fifth anniversary, the Jujutsu Kaisen cast gets that treatment, and Japanese anime news site Anime Anime notes that Yuji Itadori and Satoru Gojo come out looking considerably more huggable than they ever do on screen.

The collector hook: this is the first time the Hagu Hagu Mii! line has included figures at all. The top A prize is a set of figures designed to look good displayed side by side, while the D prize adds mini figures with a fuzzy flocked finish. The rest of the lineup sticks closer to the series' plush roots:

  • A Prize: Figure
  • B Prize: Sitting plush
  • C Prize: Plush mascot
  • D Prize: Flocked mini figure
  • E Prize: Acrylic stand
  • F Prize: Sticker

Each draw costs 800 yen (about $5) tax included, plus a one-time 660 yen shipping fee on your first purchase. Sales run on the official Sega Lucky Kuji Online page through July 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. JST.

Pair It With the In-Store Kuji for a Bonus Card

Just as the online sale closes, a companion lottery called "Sega Lucky Kuji Anime Jujutsu Kaisen 5th Anniversary SPECIAL DAY!" starts rolling out at Japanese convenience stores and hobby shops on July 31. The two are linked by a novelty campaign: per Sega Fave's press release, buying one online draw plus five in-store draws earns a campaign card, with redemption open through August 31, 2026.

Five Years of the Anime, 150 Million Copies of the Manga

The kuji lands in the middle of a busy anniversary year for the franchise. Gege Akutami's dark fantasy about curses born from humanity's negative emotions and the jujutsu sorcerers who exorcise them ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump for six and a half years, and the manga has topped 150 million copies in worldwide circulation counting digital editions.

The MAPPA-produced TV anime premiered in October 2020, and its third season, The Culling Game Part 1, aired from January to March 2026, covering the kill-or-be-killed game set in motion by Kenjaku. A fourth season adapting The Culling Game Part 2 has been greenlit.

Looking Ahead

The online kuji is the immediate deadline: sales close July 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. JST, the same day the in-store SPECIAL DAY! version launches across Japan. Anime Anime's report doesn't address international shipping, so overseas fans should check the sale page before drawing.

On the anime side, Season 4 has a teaser video up on TOHO animation's official YouTube channel but no premiere date yet. Season 3 streamed on Crunchyroll as it aired in Japan, and the manga is available in English through Viz Media and Shueisha's Manga Plus service.
