Forty manga artists have drawn new celebration artwork for the Meiji Milk Chocolate 100th Anniversary Exhibition, which opens December 23, 2026, at Tokyo International Forum, according to an Anime! Anime! report. The participants include Mitsuru Adachi (Touch), Tsukasa Hojo (City Hunter), Ai Yazawa (NANA), and Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, the creators of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End.

Meiji Milk Chocolate marked 100 years on sale on September 13. The exhibition traces that history with a timeline, packaging from each era, and advertisements featuring iconic celebrities.

The Manga Corner gathers the 40 artists' illustrations and messages, all made for the anniversary. The report describes the participants as representing Japanese culture across the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras. A separate Artist corner shows anniversary pieces and messages from 21 artists, ranging from paintings to three-dimensional works and art made with unusual materials. In total, more than 60 creators contributed, including manga artists, artists, and novelists. The collaboration artwork and messages have also been posted on the Meiji Milk Chocolate brand site since October 28.

The venue will also have photo spots and a merchandise corner. Talk events with guests are planned during the run, and details such as dates and guests will be announced through official social media and other channels.

The exhibition runs through December 30 in Hall E2, from 11:00 to 20:00 Japan time (last entry 19:30). Advance tickets cost ¥500 and same-day tickets ¥700, tax included, and preschool children enter free. Each ticket comes with one Meiji Milk Chocolate bar. Tickets go on sale October 29 at 10:00 JST through Lawson Ticket and e+, and same-day tickets will be sold at the entrance gate.
