The second half of MAPPA EXPO 15th Anniversary, the exhibition marking 15 years since animation studio MAPPA's 2011 founding, opened at YURAKUCHO MUSEUM in Tokyo on October 28, 2026, with partly new exhibits in its Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, Attack on Titan The Final Season and Jujutsu Kaisen areas. Dates for a Fukuoka run were also announced, according to an Anime Anime report.
New Exhibits in Tokyo
In the Chainsaw Man area, exhibits on the school at night and the fight at Division 2 have been replaced with new displays, including the pool scene and a street battle. Highlights include design materials for newly introduced characters and key animation from the pool scene. The life-size Bomb figure and the phone booth where the characters meet stay on display for the full run.
The Attack on Titan area now covers The Final Season Part 2 instead of Part 1. Along with key animation, storyboards and other production materials, it features a recreated photograph that is key to the story. The special Rumbling exhibit and a display on how the scenery of "that hill" was created remain on view.
The Jujutsu Kaisen area has replaced its Season 1 and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 exhibits with material from Season 2 and Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1. Key animation and character designs from The Culling Game Part 1 are being shown publicly for the first time. Special exhibits on Yuji Itadori's memories and on a room where Gojo slept continue for the full run.
The Tokyo second half runs through December 7, 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00 Japan time (last entry 17:00), with timed-entry admission.
Fukuoka Run
The exhibition will be held at the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum from January 30 to March 28, 2027. Its first half runs January 30 to March 2, and its second half March 4 to March 28. The museum is closed on Wednesdays; when a Wednesday is a public holiday, it closes on the following weekday instead. Hours are 9:30 to 18:00 (last entry 17:30), extended to 20:00 on Fridays and Saturdays (last entry 19:30). An advance ticket lottery is now open.
