Yuji and Gojo Are in Full Snack Mode
The collab's exclusive prize art puts the main four in maximum comfort. Yuji Itadori happily stuffs his cheeks with taiyaki, the fish-shaped pastry usually filled with sweet bean paste or custard. Satoru Gojo grins over an entire armful of them. Megumi Fushiguro carries an oversized rabbit plush, and Nobara Kugisaki hugs a stuffed toy of her own. The headline of the report from Japanese anime news site Anime Anime also teases that "Sukuna's finger" is getting the taiyaki treatment, a nod to the cursed fingers Yuji swallows in the series.
That art runs across four prize lines at GiGO, the nationwide arcade chain that took over Sega's former game centers: A4 file cases (4 designs), large can badges with special finishes (4 designs), mascot plushies (4 designs), and T-shirts printed with scenes from the anime (6 designs). Prizes start appearing on July 31, 2026 at GiGO group stores nationwide and on the chain's online claw machine service, GiGO ONLINE CRANE.
There is a bonus for playing, too. Put 500 yen into a qualifying crane game machine (or 500 paid SP online) and you receive one random clear card.
The Jujutsu-yaki Is Real, and It Costs 650 Yen
The collab's edible centerpiece is the "Jujutsu-yaki," a premium cream taiyaki priced at 650 yen. It will be sold at four of GiGO's taiyaki shops: GiGO Cocono Susukino in Sapporo, the Akihabara Building 5 location in Tokyo, Market Square Sasashima in Nagoya, and the Dotonbori main shop in Osaka. Every Jujutsu-yaki comes with one of eight original coasters at random.
Drinks with bonus novelty items go on sale as well, priced at 500 yen, and each one also comes with a random coaster from the same eight-design set.
On top of the food, a Jujutsu Kaisen 5th Anniversary x GiGO pop-up shop opens at four stores for the duration of the collab: GiGO Dream Town Shirakaba, GiGO Akihabara Building 5, the GiGO flagship store, and GiGO Market Square Sasashima. There is also a repost campaign on X. Follow the official account and repost the designated post, and three winners will receive the complete four-piece mascot plush set. Entries run July 17 through August 16, 2026.
Five Years of Cursed Energy
The anniversary marks five years of the TV anime. The MAPPA-produced series premiered in October 2020, Season 2 (covering the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death and Shibuya Incident arcs) began airing in July 2023, and Season 3, The Culling Game Part 1, kicked off on January 8, 2026.
Gege Akutami's original dark fantasy manga follows Yuji Itadori, a high schooler who takes a curse into his own soul to save a classmate. It ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump until September 30, 2024, when it concluded in issue 44, and the collected volumes have passed 100 million copies in circulation, according to Anime Anime.
The franchise is busy elsewhere in Japan this summer as well. The touring Gege Akutami Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition is at its Nagoya venue from July 4 to August 30, 2026, with an Iwate stop scheduled for September 12 through November 8, 2026.
Looking Ahead
The GiGO collab runs July 31 through September 6, 2026 at GiGO group stores nationwide and on GiGO ONLINE CRANE, and the repost campaign is already open through August 16. Nothing has been announced about international availability for the prizes or the pop-up shops, so for now this is a Japan-only event.
The anime itself is far easier to reach from overseas. Season 3, The Culling Game Part 1, streams on Crunchyroll, and Season 4, The Culling Game Part 2, is officially in production per the teaser on TOHO animation's YouTube channel. The manga is published in English by Viz Media and is available on Shueisha's Manga Plus service.
