The Primordial Demons Get the Rimuru Treatment

Rimuru has spent the entire franchise as the round blue blob everyone underestimates. Now the Primordial Demons are joining him in that form. The top prize (Prize A) in the new lineup, reported by Japanese anime news site Anime Anime, is a set of plush mascots that reimagines the Primordial Demons as slimes in a deliberately cute style. Unusually for a prize lottery, you get to pick which design you want rather than drawing blind.

The rest of the lineup runs on newly drawn illustrations. Prize B is a set of metallic posters featuring new art of the Primordials and Rimuru, also player's choice. Prize C uses new illustrations of the pair for acrylic stands, while Prize D offers rubber charms of the Primordial Demons in chibi "Kyun-Chara" style; which charm you get is up to luck.

Two bonus prizes round things out. The Last One prize, awarded to whoever draws the final ticket at a location, is an acrylic board with a newly drawn group illustration of every Primordial Demon together. An acrylic board is also the Double Chance campaign prize, with 10 winners.

How and Where to Draw

Ichiban Kuji is Japan's lottery-style prize game: every ticket wins something, and the Chokotto label (roughly "a little bit") covers smaller-format lineups like this one. Draws cost ¥550 including tax.

Tickets go on sale in stores on October 2, 2026, with Ichiban Kuji Online sales starting at 11:00 a.m. Japan time the same day. Official Ichiban Kuji shops will also carry the lineup.

A Franchise Deep Into Its Biggest Year

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime started as Fuse's web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro, a Japanese web-fiction platform, following an office worker reborn in another world as a slime who builds up allies through his skills, wits, and nerve. Taiki Kawakami's manga adaptation is still running, with volume 32 out now in Japan.

The anime side has been busy. The TV series debuted in October 2018, the film Scarlet Bond opened in November 2022, and the three-episode Visions of Coleus streamed in November 2023 as part of the web novel's 10th-anniversary "Tensura 10th Project." This year alone brought a second film, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea, in February 2026, followed by Season 4 in April. That season is planned as a split five-cour broadcast, an unusually long commitment even by long-running anime standards.

Looking Ahead

The lottery launches October 2, 2026 in Japan; no international release has been announced, and Ichiban Kuji lineups typically stay domestic. For everything else, international fans are covered: the series streams on Crunchyroll, which also brought Tears of the Azure Sea to theaters in the U.S., Canada, U.K., and Ireland in May 2026. Season 4's split five-cour run means new Tensura episodes should keep coming well into 2027, so expect more Primordial Demon merchandise to follow.
