The Storm Dragon in the Room
"Storm Dragon" is loaded shorthand in this franchise. It is the title the series attaches to Veldora (voiced by Tomoaki Maeno), the sealed calamity of a dragon that Rimuru befriended back in the very first episode. The episode 93 synopsis published by Japanese entertainment news outlet Oricon News says only that the hero Chronoa challenges "the Storm Dragon" to battle. It never names the opponent beyond that epithet, so how the fight connects to the dragon fans know best won't be clear until the episode airs.
Here is what the preview does confirm. After meeting Luminas, Chloe and Hinata set out on a long journey with Chloe fighting under the hero name Chronoa, and that road eventually puts a dragon in their path. The episode is titled "Yūsha Kuronoa: Kōhen," which translates to "Hero Chronoa, Part 2," so this is the closing half of a two-part story rather than a standalone outing.
Azusa Tadokoro voices Chloe, with Manami Numakura as Hinata and Lynn as Luminas. Oricon released a set of scene stills from the episode alongside the synopsis.
Inside Eight Bit's Season 4
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime follows Satoru Mikami, an office worker who is stabbed by a random attacker and wakes up in another world as a slime. Taking the name Rimuru, he puts his absorbed skills, wits, and nerve to work gathering allies of every species, all in service of building a nation where every race can live together in peace. The anime is based on Taiki Kawakami's manga adaptation of Fuse's original story, published through Kodansha.
Season 4 is animated at Eight Bit with Naokatsu Tsuda (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) directing, Hitomi Ogawa on series composition, Ryōma Ebata handling character designs, and R.O.N composing the music. The season premiered on April 3, 2026, and its second stretch of episodes has been running in the Friday 11 p.m. JST slot since July 3. The episode numbering is cumulative across the whole series, which is how the count has climbed to 93 without resetting each season.
