The Promised Neverland's Emma Voices a New Recruit
Sumire Morohoshi (Emma in The Promised Neverland, Michiru in BNA: Brand New Animal) joins Season 3 as Muusha Trick (ムーシャ・トリック), a girl chosen in the Louvent house's latest recruitment drive in Canale. She applies hoping for a backstage job, but Ars's appraisal skill spots her hidden aptitude for magic, and she winds up assigned to the family's magic unit instead.
Hinata Tadokoro (田所陽向) voices Zatto Brozdo (ザット・ブロズド), a former assault captain of the Riben mercenary company who is named vice-captain of the Louvent house's elite unit. Both characters speak for the first time in the second Season 3 trailer, which opens on a shot of Ars, fresh resolve in his eyes, before the whole Louvent household assembles on screen. The new key visual gathers that same lineup, the retainers Ars has found through his appraisal skill, with Muusha and Zatto standing among them.
A New Chapter After the Missian Succession War
The series follows Ars Louvent, a boy reincarnated into another world with an appraisal skill that lets him read people's abilities and stats. As Season 3 opens, Ars has been named governor of Canale County for his service in the Missian succession war and is rebuilding the Louvent household with new allies. Then a massive army from the Saits region, allied with his old enemy Basamark, marches on Canale, and the announcement teases a turbulent new chapter.
The anime adapts Miraijin A's light novel series, published under Kodansha's K Lanove Books label, which has passed 7 million copies in circulation across the franchise. studio MOTHER is producing Season 3, with director Takao Kato and character designer Yuko Yahiro both returning. Natsumi Fujiwara is back as Ars, leading a returning cast that includes Kana Hanazawa, Haruka Tomatsu, and Miho Okasaki.
Riko Sasaki and Akuru Yoru no Hitsuji Handle the Theme Songs
The opening theme (OP) is "Still Water" by Riko Sasaki (佐々木李子), an alternative rock number built around the image of pure water, written and composed by Skipjack with arrangement by Atsuhito Satō. In her comment, Sasaki said tracing the story made her think of appraisal not as a way to decide someone's worth but as "the power to find a brilliance that isn't visible yet," and that she wrote the song about trusting what lies deeper than the self other people see.
The ending theme (ED) is "Hibi wo Koete" (roughly "Beyond These Days") by the rock band Akuru Yoru no Hitsuji (明くる夜の羊), built on the idea of getting past who you were yesterday. Vocalist Yui Kawano said she hopes the song can stay beside listeners in moments of doubt, the way Ars and his companions would.
Looking Ahead
Season 3 premieres September 27, 2026 in the Sunday 11:30 p.m. "Agaru Anime" slot across the 28-station CBC/TBS network, though the first episode starts at midnight, according to the PR TIMES release from Bushiroad. Satellite channel BS NTV picks the show up on September 29, and anime channel AT-X follows on October 1. In Japan, U-NEXT, Anime Hodai, and d Anime Store get each episode first from September 28, with the Japanese versions of Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Hulu, ABEMA, DMM TV, and other services following from October 1.
The release doesn't name an international streaming partner. Crunchyroll carried the first two seasons outside Japan, but nothing has been confirmed for Season 3 yet. The manga adaptation is available in English from Kodansha. To mark the premiere, the official X account (@kanteiskill) is also running a Japan-based follow-and-repost giveaway through September 18, with 1,000 winners drawing digital payment credit worth up to ¥10,000.
