Two New Allies for Elizabeth's Revenge
Japanese manga news site Comic Natalie reported two additions to the cast of A Livid Lady's Guide to Getting Even (ブチ切れ令嬢は報復を誓いました。 ~魔導書の力で祖国を叩き潰します~), the upcoming anime about a duke's daughter named Elizabeth who wields the most powerful grimoire to take revenge on those who betrayed her.
Yū Serizawa (Yumemi Yumemite in Kakegurui, Shera L Greenwood in How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord) voices Tida (ティーダ), a sister who travels the countryside performing healing magic as part of her training. She's a sister who acts nothing like one, freewheeling and perpetually high-energy.
Shizuka Ishigami (young Thorfinn in Vinland Saga, Ikumi Mito in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma) plays Elza Archfield (エルザ・アーチフィールド), an A-rank adventurer who leads the party known as Keen Edge. Elza carries the title "Phoenix Elza" and wields a divine weapon called the Phoenix Sword (Fenice Spada).
Both actors shared comments about the series. Serizawa admitted she was told she was "putting too much energy in" during her first recording session, which she took as proof that Tida is a blast to play. She described protagonist Elizabeth's willpower and cunning as deeply satisfying to watch. Ishigami said she focused on conveying Elza's steadfastness as the party leader of Keen Edge.
