Six Titles, New Projects, and a Loaded Guest List

MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man) is marking 15 years with a proper showcase. The studio's lineup presentation, announced by Japanese entertainment news site Comic Natalie, will stream on June 19 at 8:00 PM JST on MAPPA's official YouTube channel. Six confirmed titles are on the slate, alongside brand-new project reveals.

The confirmed titles: Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan The Final Season, Oblivion Battery, Ranma 1/2, Chainsaw Man, and Dorohedoro. Four of those come with dedicated cast and staff segments. Chainsaw Man and Dorohedoro are listed without segment details, which means their reveals are likely being saved for the broadcast itself.

What Each Segment Looks Like

The Jujutsu Kaisen block brings Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori) and Megumi Ogata (Yuta Okkotsu) together for a special edition of the franchise's "Jujutoku" talk show. Attack on Titan The Final Season gets a conversation between director Yūichirō Hayashi and Yui Ishikawa, the voice of Mikasa Ackerman.

Oblivion Battery's segment takes voice actors Yōhei Azakami (Aoi Tōdō) and Nobunaga Shimazaki (Shunpei Chihaya) behind the scenes at the Season 2 production studio, with director Masato Nakazono joining them.

Ranma 1/2 draws the biggest guest lineup. Kappei Yamaguchi (Ranma Saotome), Noriko Hidaka (Akane Tendō), and Kōichi Yamadera (Ryōga Hibiki) reunite for what the event bills as a "Season 3 Explosive Special Talk."

Tsuda Hosts, PEOPLE 1 Scores the Anniversary

Kenjirō Tsuda (Nanami in Jujutsu Kaisen, Seto Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh!) serves as the event's navigator. Kotono Mitsuishi (Sailor Moon, Misato Katsuragi in Evangelion) handles narration.

Tsuda, who has voiced characters across multiple MAPPA productions, described the presentation as more than a title parade. He noted that each work gets introduced through polished video segments rather than a simple rundown, calling the experience "an honor" given MAPPA's rising global profile. "MAPPA's works have earned high praise not just in Japan but worldwide in recent years, and being entrusted with the navigator role for this makes me incredibly excited for what's ahead," he said.

The stream will also premiere an anniversary movie set to "Seikatsu" (Life), an original track written by PEOPLE 1 for MAPPA's 15th anniversary. The band previously contributed an ending theme to Chainsaw Man's first season.

Looking Ahead

The presentation streams June 19 at 8:00 PM JST (7:00 AM ET / 4:00 AM PT) on MAPPA's official YouTube channel, making it freely accessible to international viewers with no announced region lock.

MAPPA's current and upcoming titles are widely available in Western markets. Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Oblivion Battery stream on Crunchyroll, while Dorohedoro is on Netflix. The new Ranma 1/2 anime also streams internationally on Netflix.

With Chainsaw Man and Dorohedoro kept off the segment list, those two titles could be where the event's biggest surprises land. MAPPA was founded in June 2011 by Masao Maruyama, former co-founder of Madhouse, and has since grown into one of Japan's most prolific anime studios.
