A Domain Expansion Face and Bonus Parts for Yuji and Todo
The sculpt chases Mahito's on-screen silhouette while keeping the joints flexible enough for action poses, and the accessory list is generous. The stitched-up cursed spirit comes with a stack of swap-out expressions and hands, an alternate hair part, and a dedicated Domain Expansion face. Per Tamashii Nations' product listings, the figure stands about 16 cm (roughly 6.3 inches) tall and includes four expressions, two left hands, and three right hands in the box.
The bonus parts are the collector bait. The set includes extra expression parts made specifically for two separately sold figures, S.H.Figuarts Yuji Itadori -120% Potential- and S.H.Figuarts Aoi Todo. Yuji and Todo are the pair who went toe-to-toe with Mahito during the anime's Shibuya Incident arc, so the three figures are built to restage that brawl on a shelf.
Preorders opened September 1, 2026, according to Japanese anime news site Anime Anime. The figure costs ¥9,900 (about $65) and ships in April 2027 through hobby retailer AmiAmi and Japanese electronics chains Bic Camera, Sofmap, and Edion. The reveal also landed a day after Tamashii Nations showed off an S.H.Figuarts Nanami Kento at the same price, so the brand's Jujutsu Kaisen shelf is filling out quickly.
The Curse Born From Human Hatred
Jujutsu Kaisen is Gege Akutami's dark fantasy about curses spawned by humanity's negative emotions and the sorcerers who exorcise them. The manga ran for six and a half years in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump and has passed 150 million copies in worldwide circulation, digital editions included.
Mahito sits high on the series' villain roster: a special grade cursed spirit born from humans' hatred and fear of one another, whose Idle Transfiguration technique lets him reshape bodies by touching souls. That technique is behind some of the anime's cruelest turns, and the swap-out expressions exist to recreate those scenes, per the Anime Anime report. MAPPA has produced the TV anime since it premiered in October 2020.
Looking Ahead
On the anime side, Season 3, The Culling Game Part 1, wrapped its January-to-March 2026 run, covering the deadly game set in motion by Kenjaku, and streamed internationally on Crunchyroll. Season 4, The Culling Game Part 2, is officially in production, and a teaser trailer is already up on the TOHO animation YouTube channel. No premiere window has been announced.
As for the figure, the April 2027 release currently runs through Japanese retailers, and the report lists no Western distribution details. The source manga is available in English from Viz Media, with chapters also on Shueisha's Manga Plus app.
