A Crybaby Warrior Rendered From Every Angle
The accessory list is what sells this one. According to Japanese anime news site Anime Anime, the roughly 14.5 cm figure includes the battle axe Stark uses to unleash his techniques, and soft materials worked into parts of the costume let it hold the kind of aggressive, full-swing poses the character is known for.
The swappable face plates are the real draw, though. Alongside battle expressions, the set includes Stark's crying face from the show, so collectors can stage everything from serious combat to the comedy beats that come with being a frontline warrior who is also a massive coward. His favorite dessert, the Jumbo Berry Special parfait, is in the box too.
For collectors building out the party, the figure also comes with a grimoire accessory designed to pair with the separately sold S.H.Figuarts Frieren. Anime Anime frames the release as the moment Frieren's traveling party finally comes together in Figuarts form.
Where the Anime Stands Heading Into 2027
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, by Kanehito Yamada with art by Tsukasa Abe, runs in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. The story picks up after the hero's party has already defeated the Demon King, following the elf mage Frieren, who has lived more than a thousand years, as she travels with new companions. Stark fills the warrior slot in that party.
The anime's first season aired from September 2023 to March 2024 and built a huge audience both in Japan and overseas. Season 2 followed from January to March 2026, with Madhouse returning as animation studio, Tomoya Kitagawa taking over as director, and Season 1 director Keiichirō Saitō staying on in a director-cooperation role. The Season 2 finale announced that Season 3, adapting the Golden Land arc, arrives in October 2027, a date Anime News Network confirmed in March. That puts this figure's March 2027 release squarely in the buildup window between seasons.
Looking Ahead
Preorders opened September 1, 2026 through Japanese hobby retailer AmiAmi and the electronics chains Edion, Sofmap, and Bic Camera; the figure is priced at 9,900 yen (tax included) and slated for release in March 2027. An international release hasn't been announced, though the earlier S.H.Figuarts Frieren did reach US retailers through Tamashii Nations' Western distribution, so importing won't necessarily be the only route.
For everything else Frieren, the manga is published in English by Viz Media, Crunchyroll streams the anime's second season worldwide outside of Asia, and the next big date on the calendar is October 2027, when the Golden Land arc finally hits screens.
