What's on Sale at CharaON! Yokohama

The "CharaON! Mini Pop-Up in Yokohama" opened June 6 at the Volks Yokohama Showroom inside Yokohama Vivre (9th floor), as reported by Anime Anime. The pop-up stocks exclusive, newly illustrated goods from 11 titles, with a heavy emphasis on fan-favorite heroines in alternate outfits.

Volks, the hobby retailer known for its Super Dollfie line and garage kit events, is hosting the limited run through June 14. Hours are 11:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 21:00 on weekends and holidays.

Highlights by Title

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime gets a "Chara-Cos" acrylic stand series where Rimuru Tempest cosplays as Benimaru, Diablo, Shizu, and Shuna. Each stand features a new illustration of the slime protagonist in a different character's outfit.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End offers Frieren in a yukata and a Halloween costume, both on newly drawn goods.

My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 showcases Marin Kitagawa in her school uniform alongside cosplay outfits of Arisa, Rose, and Rei.

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Season 2 features Mahiru Shiina in overalls and lolita fashion. The show's second season is currently airing.

Date A Live V brings Kurumi Tokisaki and Yoshino in gothic punk attire, timed to the franchise's 12th anime anniversary campaign.

Gushing Over Magical Girls highlights Utena Hiiragi (Magia Baiser) and Kiwi Aragawa (Leopard) in characteristic poses.

Summer Pockets dresses Shiroha Naruse, Ao Sorakado, Kamome Kushima, and Tsumugi Wenders as nurse maids.

The remaining titles round out the lineup: There's No Way I Can Have a Lover! and Childhood Friend Won't Be a Romcom share a cat-ear swimsuit theme, Bad Girl puts its leads Yuu Yutani and Ryou Suzukaze in bikinis, and Ruri's Gemstone features Ruri Tanigawa and Nagi Arato in swimsuits.

Looking Ahead

The pop-up closes June 14, leaving just under a week for fans in the Yokohama area to visit. Volks has not announced whether remaining stock will move to online sales afterward, though the retailer's CharaON! blog may update with availability details.

For international collectors, none of the exclusive goods have been listed on Volks' international storefront as of this writing. Proxy shopping services remain the most reliable route for overseas buyers looking to pick up event-limited anime merchandise from Japanese retailers.
