Two Freebie Waves for Food Orders and Play Packs

According to Japanese anime news site Anime Anime, the campaign splits into two halves with rotating giveaways. At 93 Round1 locations across Japan, ordering a qualifying item from the collab food and drink menu earns a limited novelty. The first half, July 24 through September 10, 2026, covers 49 days and hands out a clear ticket. The second half, September 11 through October 25, runs 45 days and switches the freebie to a hologram coaster.

Players get their own track. Round1 will sell collab play packages at 98 bowling centers, 93 karaoke locations, 55 Spo-Cha sports floors, 47 billiards halls, and 75 darts venues nationwide. Using one during the first half earns a hologram A5 illustration card; in the second half, that swaps to a mini-character version of the card.

A Themed Room in Ikebukuro and Collab Bowling Monitors

Round1's Ikebukuro location in Tokyo gets a room decorated in Oshi no Ko artwork for the duration of the campaign. The chain is also switching the score monitors at its 98 bowling centers over to collab-themed displays, so the series will be on screen between frames.

Physical merch featuring Ai, Aqua, Ruby, and other characters goes on sale at four stores: Sendai Izumi in Miyagi, Ikebukuro in Tokyo, Saikaya Yokosuka in Kanagawa, and Sennichimae in Osaka. The lineup includes acrylic stands, tin badges, and tote bags. Store-by-store menu and pack details are collected on the official campaign page.

The Hit Manga Behind the Campaign

Oshi no Ko comes from writer Aka Akasaka, creator of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, and artist Mengo Yokoyari of Scum's Wish. Published by Shueisha, the manga follows Goro, an obstetrician working in a provincial city, whose favorite idol, Ai of the group B-Komachi, suddenly appears in front of him. That meeting sets a strange fate in motion, and the series' fresh take on the entertainment industry, laced with mystery elements, made it a talking point from the moment serialization began.

Looking Ahead

The campaign is an in-person, Japan-only run from July 24 to October 25, 2026. No international leg has been announced.

For fans outside Japan, the anime itself is the way in. Season 3 premiered on January 14, 2026 and has finished its broadcast run, with a fourth and final season now in production, announced in a PV on the anime's official YouTube channel. HIDIVE simulcast Season 3 in English-speaking territories and added an English dub in April 2026. The source manga is published in English by Yen Press.
