Shiromuku Bridal Kimonos, Redone as Swimwear
The hook here is the new character art. According to Japanese anime news site Anime Anime, the prizes use newly drawn illustrations of five characters in outfits modeled on the shiromuku, the all-white kimono worn by Japanese brides, restyled as swimwear to fit the lottery's "Summer Wedding" theme. Ai, Ruby and Kana Arima are named up front, and the bonus campaign schedule lists Akane Kurokawa and MEM-cho alongside them, which suggests those two round out the five. Aqua gets a look of his own as well: the announcement highlights him in a Chinese-style outfit.
Oshi no Ko, written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari for Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump, follows Goro, a small-town obstetrician who is murdered after attending the birth of his favorite idol, Ai. Reborn as her son Aqua, he then loses her to a stalker's knife, and the story becomes a revenge plot set against the ugly side of Japan's entertainment industry. The series has passed 25 million copies in circulation worldwide. The TV anime ran its first season from April 2023 and its second from July 2024, and the franchise has picked up stage play and live-action drama adaptations along the way.
Six Prize Tiers, Topped by a 30cm Acrylic Stand
The S prize is a "selectable big acrylic stand" in five designs, standing roughly 28 to 30 centimeters tall. The "selectable" part is the draw: winners pick which of the five designs they take home. The A prize is a B2-size tapestry, also in five designs, followed by acrylic stand figures for the B prize (five designs) and mini acrylic stand figures for the C prize (seven designs, some using past illustrations rather than the new wedding art). The D prize covers twelve designs of mini shikishi, small illustrated art boards made for shelf displays, and the E prize is a set of ten larger-format can badges.
Anyone buying a 10-draw set during the sale window also gets one mini bromide, a collectible photo-style print, as a purchase bonus. The bonus schedule splits the run in half: Ai and Ruby are listed for September 3 through September 17, with Kana Arima, Akane Kurokawa and MEM-cho listed for September 17 through October 1, which suggests the featured characters change midway.
Draws cost ¥770 (about $5) each, tax included, with shipping charged separately. Sales open at noon JST on September 3, 2026 and close at 11:59 a.m. JST on October 1, 2026 through the official lottery page.
Looking Ahead
The lottery wraps on October 1, but the franchise has a bigger date on the calendar. A fourth and final season of the anime is in production at Doga Kobo, and its teaser visual and teaser movie went out in mid-August 2026 on the official YouTube channel. For international fans, all three existing seasons stream on Crunchyroll and HIDIVE, with Season 3 having finished its run on March 25, 2026. The manga is complete at 16 volumes, published in English by Yen Press and available digitally on Shueisha's Manga Plus service.
