A 15-Screen Print Job Rooted in the '90s

The tour comes from Geeks Rule, a project run in partnership with Japanese retail company PARCO that takes cult culture, anime above all, as its subject matter. As Japanese anime news site Anime Anime reports, the project centers on the 1990s, the decade it considers the golden age of the T-shirt, and obsesses over every step of production: choosing subjects, design, print technique, and the shirt bodies themselves.

The shirts on this tour are made with multi-pass silkscreen printing, color-separated into 15 screens using the project's own separation technique and printed on a machine the announcement describes as extremely rare in Japan. The project's stated mission is to hand cultures down to future generations through T-shirts, and the tour adds a second goal on top: bringing Japan's anime culture to the wider world.

Chainsaw Man and Dandadan on Day 1, Evangelion on Day 2

The lineup covers six designs across the three series, and every city gets the same two-day split. Day 1 offers two shirts from Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc and one Dandadan shirt featuring Okarun. Day 2 belongs entirely to Neon Genesis Evangelion, with three designs built around Rei, Asuka, and Misato.

The product names shown so far are strictly descriptive, like "CHAINSAW MAN - The Movie: Reze Arc x GEEKS RULE SILKSCREEN PRINTING T SHIRT vol.04" and the Dandadan "Okarun" shirt.

Three Cities, Three Weekends

The tour runs one weekend per city:

  • Taipei: August 1-2, 2026 at PLATEAU STUDIO in the Zhongshan District, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Hong Kong: August 8-9, 2026 at Gallery HBX in the Landmark Atrium on Queen's Road Central, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Seoul: September 5-6, 2026 at 8DIVISION in the Jung-gu district, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

PARCO organizes the tour, with planning and production credited to PARCO and Geeks Rule.

Looking Ahead

Entry procedures and pricing aren't in the announcement; those details will come through each venue's official site and social accounts, so check those channels before lining up. The announced itinerary covers only the three cities, and no Japan dates or additional stops are listed. The tour wraps up in Seoul on September 6, 2026.
