Ichigo's Four Powers, Served as Stroganoff
The café is officially tied to the anime's current cour, released internationally as Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity, and the food leans on the specific lore of that arc rather than generic character colors. According to Japanese anime news site Anime Anime's rundown of the menu, the Ichigo Kurosaki beef stroganoff is built around the four powers he carries at this point in the story: Soul Reaper, Hollow, Quincy and Fullbring. The stroganoff itself is black, plated with turmeric rice and fried potato. The PARCO café page lists it at ¥1,870.
Tōshirō Hitsugaya gets a cold "mizore" pasta (¥1,760) modeled on the power of his ice-type zanpakutō. Chicken-breast ham and fried eggplant come with a block of clear soy-sauce ice, and you pour a side of Japanese dashi stock over it so the stenciled ice flowers scatter across the plate. Kenpachi Zaraki's dish is a "lava" pasta meant to evoke his raw power: black-sesame soy-milk pasta baked under cheese, topped with fried burdock, and served with bread printed with a zanpakutō, pink cream cheese, and a turnip-and-cauliflower salad.
The one non-character plate is the Gatonden (臥豚殿) set, a two-person portion inspired by the home cooking Royal Guard member Kirio Hikifune served to Ichigo, Renji Abarai and Kon. The oversized promotional stand-up that comes with it can't be taken home.
Mayuri's Brain Parfait and a Syringe of Raspberry Sauce
The dessert list is where the café gets weird in the right way. The Yhwach pancakes are modeled on the key visual for The Calamity: the Quincy king is rendered in whipped cream blackened with bamboo charcoal, the pancakes are filled with custard and mixed berries, and Ichigo's successive zanpakutō are stenciled around the plate. A no-bake cheesecake plate stages the fight between Uryū Ishida and Jugram Haschwalth, with a blue tuile for Uryū on the right and skin-on green seedless grapes for Haschwalth on the left.
Rukia Kuchiki's ice dessert recreates her bankai, Hakka no Togame, using dry ice and pulled sugar to sell the absolute-zero effect. Underneath are maple-syrup-coated crushed cookies, a cream-cheese ice cream coated in white chocolate, vanilla ice cream, and blueberries and other fruit.
Then there's the Mayuri Kurotsuchi parfait: grape sauce, panna cotta, sponge, vanilla ice cream and a grape jelly shaped like a cerebrum, layered in a glass. You break through the grape ice cream, jelly and pastry on top, then inject raspberry sauce from a syringe to change the flavor partway through.
Drinks follow the same logic. Kisuke Urahara's matcha smoothie has vanilla ice cream you stir in yourself, with matcha milk and roasted soybean flour on the side. Yoruichi Shihōin's orange float depicts her lightning-charged Shunkō battle form: the bolts are rendered in candy, over orange juice with grapes, grape ice cream and popping candy. The Bambies yogurt drink stacks five colors for the five Quincy women whose self-declared leader is Bambietta, and each order comes with one of five random novelty cards. The "Thanks to Tsukishima" drink is lemonade that changes flavor when you add yellow-berry syrup from a dropper, a nod to Shūkurō Tsukishima's memory-rewriting Fullbring, Book of the End.
Coasters, Acrylic Stands and a Mayuri Face Pouch
Every food, dessert or drink ordered comes with one random original coaster from a set of seven, and takeout drinks count too. The attached goods shop stocks café-exclusive items alongside officially licensed Bleach merchandise: acrylic stands with backgrounds, large-format acrylic stands, die-cut stickers, and trading metal can badges in seven random designs. There are also T-shirts, large tote bags, a silicone pouch shaped like Mayuri's face, and a tenugui hand towel themed on the Gotei 13.
The shop has free entry, so you can browse without a café seat, though the source article notes entry may be temporarily restricted when it gets crowded. PARCO also plans to sell the goods through ONLINE PARCO, its web shop.
Bleach, for anyone who needs the reminder, is Tite Kubo's sword-fighting action manga from Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, about Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenager who becomes a substitute Soul Reaper and gets dragged into the conflicts of the Soul Society. The TV anime started in October 2004 and has produced more than 360 episodes and four feature films; Thousand-Year Blood War has been airing as its final series since October 2022.
Looking Ahead
The café runs September 18 through November 3, 2026 at THE GUEST CAFE BY PARCO on the sixth floor of Shibuya PARCO, open 10:00 to 21:00 with food last orders at 20:00 and drinks at 20:30 (hours follow the building and may change). PARCO's event page says advance reservation tickets for busy dates are handled through the LivePocket ticketing service on a first-come basis, so check there before making a Shibuya detour.
For viewers outside Japan, The Calamity premiered July 25, 2026 and streams on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in international markets, with English, Spanish, Portuguese and German dubs added weekly since August 29. The Bleach manga is published in English by Viz Media. No overseas stop for the café has been announced.
