A Compass That Swings on Your Wrist
The Log Pose model is the one most One Piece fans will recognize on sight. It is built on Tendence's signature KingDome collection, a watch defined by a heavily curved dome of glass over a dial that rotates freely with the movement of your wrist. According to Japanese anime news site Anime Anime, that rotating motion is what started the whole project: it reminded the two companies of the Log Pose, the navigation tool that points the Straw Hats toward the next island in the Grand Line.
On the reissue, the needle is designed to sway with your arm as if it were finding a heading. Behind it sit Tendence's usual hour markers alongside the Straw Hat Pirates' jolly roger. The strap is silicone, colored to look like wood, which keeps the nautical-instrument feel without the weight.
Tendence itself was founded in Switzerland in 2007 under the concept "Larger Than Life," and the brand has built its identity on oversized cases and playful mechanics like rotating dials. The first One Piece collaboration landed in 2018 with these same two models, and the partnership has produced four collaborations to date. The press release from Japanese distributor Ueni Trading notes the 2018 originals sold out immediately.
The East Blue Model Spins a Ship's Wheel
The second watch takes the sea itself as its motif, named after the East Blue, the ocean where Luffy's journey begins. The dial uses a sculpted, three-dimensional form meant to suggest the scale of the ocean, and in the center sits a ship's wheel that turns as your wrist moves.
There is a small gimmick built into the wheel. One section is painted red, and the direction it ends up facing is meant to be read as a daily fortune. It is a playful touch, in keeping with a brand that has built its name on whimsical design.
What's New in Batch N°2
This is not a straight re-run of the 2018 stock. Each caseback is engraved with an individual serial number and the words "Batch N°2," so the reissue pieces are distinguishable from the originals. The packaging sleeve has been redesigned, and each watch ships with a cleaning cloth as a bonus, with different artwork for each model.
Otherwise, the two models share the same hardware: quartz movement, a 50mm nylon case, mineral glass, silicone strap, and 5-bar water resistance. Product codes are TY023009-P for the Log Pose model and TY023008-P for the East Blue model. Both are priced at ¥64,900 including tax (¥59,000 before tax), which works out to roughly $440.
Quantities are tight. The Log Pose model is limited to 300 pieces and the East Blue model to 200. Tendence Japan's official channel has posted a short promotional video for the Log Pose reissue showing the needle in motion.
Looking Ahead
Preorders opened at 10:00 a.m. JST on September 15, 2026, and the release is scheduled for October 16, 2026. Tendence Japan is handling the release, and the source does not mention any plans for sales outside Japan, so overseas fans will likely need a proxy service.
The watches arrive during a busy stretch for the franchise. The TV anime, which has run on Fuji TV since 1999, began adapting the Elbaf arc in April 2026. Netflix's live-action series has two seasons streaming, with a third planned for 2027. Eiichiro Oda's manga, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump since 1997, crossed 600 million copies in circulation worldwide as of March 4, 2026. In English, the manga is published by Viz Media, and the anime streams on Crunchyroll.
