Six Characters, One Wardrobe

WEGO, a Japanese street-fashion chain running roughly 190 stores nationwide, commissioned new artwork of six characters for the collection: Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, Shoto Todoroki, Tsuyu Asui and Kyoka Jiro. The clothing in the range is modeled on what those characters wear in the new illustrations, a different exercise from printing a face on a hoodie. The rest of the fashion lineup pulls from the anime itself, with one T-shirt series using key visuals from across the show's run and another built on screenshots from the episodes.

My Hero Academia is set in a world where roughly 80 percent of the population has a superpower called a Quirk. Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed Deku, does not. A chance meeting with the No. 1 hero All Might leads to him inheriting the Quirk One For All and enrolling at U.A. High, a prestigious hero school. Kohei Horikoshi's manga ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump for ten years, and per the WEGO press release on PR TIMES, the comics have passed 100 million copies in circulation worldwide.

The Price List

Merch first. Acrylic stands are ¥1,650 across six designs, a sticker set is ¥1,320, clear files are ¥550 in seven variants, and charm keychains are ¥1,799 with a punishing 20 types to chase. Both T-shirt lines are ¥4,399 and come in one size only: eight designs for the key-visual set and four for the screenshot set.

The apparel proper is stocked at 18 WEGO stores, the WEGO VINTAGE branch at Sendai Ekimae E-Beans and the online store. It is priced like real clothes rather than like merch: a green check flannel at ¥6,049, a gray printed sweatshirt at ¥5,099, a blue cardigan at ¥6,599, a hooded jacket at ¥8,799 in black and other colors, a navy logo knit sweater at ¥5,499, a brown zip hoodie at ¥6,599 and a cropped black zip hoodie at ¥5,059. Accessories cover a black square shoulder bag (¥3,959), a silver dog tag necklace (¥2,529), a black charm bag (¥3,629), a beige cap (¥3,299) and a black duffel bag (¥4,399). Everything is one size, with no size range offered.

Those same locations carry oversized acrylic stands at ¥5,500 plus blind-packed trading tin badges (¥550) and clear cards (¥440), six types each. Sealed boxes of the badges (¥3,300) and cards (¥2,640) are exclusive to WEGO ONLINE STORE, the usual mercy for collectors who would rather not gamble.

Harajuku Gets a Window

Spend ¥2,000 or more on collaboration items in a physical store and you get one random sticker, while supplies last. The giveaway does not apply to online orders.

WEGO's Harajuku flagship is also running a limited-time window display using the new illustrations, positioned as a photo spot on Harajuku's Takeshita Street. The Shinsaibashi store in Osaka gets a photo spot as well. Sixteen further locations, from Sapporo down to Kumamoto, get oversized panels.

The full stock list runs to more than 50 branches, stretching from Sapporo to San-A Urasoe Nishikaigan PARCO CITY in Okinawa, and takes in most of the Aeon Mall and Lalaport shopping-center chains along the way.

Looking Ahead

The collection goes on sale in stores on Friday, September 18, 2026, and on WEGO ONLINE STORE the same day from 12:00 p.m. Japan time. The Kuzuha Mall branch is the one exception and starts on October 9, 2026.

This is a Japan-only release, and WEGO has not announced international shipping or a proxy arrangement for it. The chain has been expanding overseas, and a separate WEGO announcement dated September 4, 2026, confirmed a "WEGO HARAJUKU" concept flagship opening in Shanghai on September 29, 2026. Whether any of this range reaches that store has not been stated.

Horikoshi's manga is published in English by Viz Media, and the anime streams internationally on Crunchyroll.
