Seven Restaurants, Seven Characters
Running July 17 through September 6, 2026, the Sakamoto Days Exhibition takes over Gallery AaMo at Tokyo Dome City in Tokyo. According to Japanese comics news site Comic Natalie, seven restaurants across the complex will serve character-themed dishes for the duration of the show, each paired with a collectible original coaster (seven designs, distributed randomly with every order).
The menu lineup pulls directly from the manga's cast. JACK IN THE DONUTS offers Sakamoto's Full-Belly Donut Set, color-coded to represent both the "fat" and "slim" versions of protagonist Taro Sakamoto. Over at creperie kenny's, Shin's Refreshing Blue Float is a ramune-flavored drink topped with mango sauce and pineapple to mimic his trademark blonde hair. Nagisa Shokudo contributes Lu's Braided Amaou Soda, a strawberry soda with a braid-shaped pie nod to Lu's hairstyle.
The remaining four round out the full main cast. Marion Crepes serves Heisuke's Target Crepe, featuring a monaka wafer printed with the bullseye mark on his cheek. Yamamoto no Hamburg offers Nagumo's Tricky Tomato Cream Hamburger, topped with a miniature die referencing Nagumo's habit of rolling dice to pick his weapons. Mother Ranch CAFE SOFTCREAM pairs Shishiba's favorite coffee with soft-serve for the Shishiba Crackling Coffee Float. And ROBERT'S COFFEE rounds things out with Osaragi's Circular Saw Coffee Jelly Latte, topped with a cocoa biscuit shaped like his signature weapon.
Creator Interview and Exhibition Merch
Beyond the food tie-ins, an official exhibition guidebook has been confirmed. The book includes a seven-page interview with creator Yuto Suzuki, in which he discusses behind-the-scenes stories from Sakamoto Days and his path to becoming a manga artist. For a serialization that launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2020 and has since become one of the magazine's flagship action titles, the book provides an extended look at Suzuki's creative process.
The exhibition will also sell made-to-order merchandise using the show's original key visual: framed high-detail digital color prints, "Dramatic Diorama Panels," and crystal blocks. Standard exhibition tickets run at ¥2,000 for adults, ¥1,500 for middle and high school students, and ¥900 for elementary schoolers. A goods-included ticket is available for ¥4,200.
Looking Ahead
The Tokyo run at Gallery AaMo closes September 6, but Comic Natalie reports the exhibition will travel to Nagoya this autumn, with venue details to follow.
Sakamoto Days continues to expand across media. The anime, produced by TMS Entertainment (Detective Conan, Lupin III), streamed worldwide on Netflix across two cours in 2025. A live-action film hit Japanese theaters on April 29, 2026. The source manga is published in English by Viz Media and available on Shueisha's Manga Plus app.
