Five Fan-Favorite Characters Get the Cozy Treatment
Palude, an anime-focused loungewear and lifestyle brand, is rolling out its second wave of Haikyu!! fluffy roomwear, and the character lineup reads like a setter showcase. Toru Oikawa, Hajime Iwaizumi, Keiji Akaashi, Atsumu Miya, and Osamu Miya all get their own pullover designs built around a playful theme: each character's favorite food, rendered in textured, plush knit fabric.
The first wave spotlighted Shoyo Hinata and other Karasuno regulars. Wave 2 branches out to rival schools and fan-favorite supporting players, a move that tracks with Haikyu!!'s reputation for making every character on the court feel like a lead.
What's in the Collection
The centerpiece is the unisex fluffy pullover (¥7,480 each, tax included), available in all five character designs. Matching long pants (¥7,480) come in both men's and women's sizing, with each pair featuring the character's jersey number as Sagara embroidery on the back pocket.
Smaller accessories round out the lineup. Headbands (¥2,420) use each character's image color and include a tag printed with their profile info. Room socks (¥2,420) keep the color-coded theme going from head to toe.
Three plush mascot items also join the collection: a compact fluffy amigurumi keychain (¥2,640) and a full-size cushion (¥9,900), each available as Akaashi Fukuro (owl), Tsumukitsune, and Samukitsune (foxes). Acrylic stands (¥1,650) and random can badges (¥495 each, or ¥3,190 for a complete set of five) feature newly drawn illustrations of the characters in their loungewear, looking appropriately relaxed.

Looking Ahead
Haikyu!! merch keeps rolling at a steady clip as the franchise builds toward its next film. The sequel movie Haikyu!! VS Chiisana Kyojin and a TV special titled Haikyu!! Bakemono-tachi no Yuku Tokoro are both in production, following the massive success of the 2024 theatrical film The Dumpster Battle, which cleared ¥20 billion at the worldwide box office and won the Japan Academy Prize for Excellence in Animation. The source manga by Haruichi Furudate, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, has over 75 million copies in circulation. No international storefront for Palude has been announced, so overseas fans may need to use a proxy shipping service to grab these before they sell out.
