49 Free Episodes in One Week

Japanese streaming platform ABEMA announced a week-long Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation channel running from June 27 through July 4. Every episode from Seasons 1 and 2, all 48 TV episodes plus one OVA, will air daily in sequence. All episodes remain free to watch for one week after their broadcast slot.

The channel opens at 8:00 PM JST on June 27. For fans who need to catch up across three years of production (Season 1 premiered in January 2021, Season 2 ran in two split cours from July 2023 and April 2024), the compressed format covers all the ground before Season 3 begins.

Cast Special Previews the Eris Training Arc

The marathon's final day pulls double duty. On July 4 at 7:00 PM JST, ABEMA will exclusively air a one-hour pre-Season 3 special spotlighting the season's opening storyline, billed as the "Eris Training Arc" after the fan-favorite swordswoman Eris Boreas Greyrat.

Three voice actors headline the program: Ai Kakuma, returning as Eris, alongside Season 3 newcomers Haruka Tomatsu (Asuna in Sword Art Online, Zero Two in DARLING in the FRANXX) as Nina Farion and Yōko Hikasa (Mio Akiyama in K-On!) as Isolte Cruel. Haruka Mori hosts.

Beyond the special's featured trio, the Eris Training Arc cast includes Megumi Toyoguchi returning as Ghislaine Dedoldia, Tetsu Inada as Gal Farion, and Katsuyuki Konishi as Auber Corvette.

The special will also feature footage from a June 20 advance screening of Season 3's first two episodes, including a stage greeting with the cast.

Season 3 Premiere on ABEMA

Immediately after the special, Season 3 launches on ABEMA at 8:00 PM JST on July 4 with a two-episode premiere. ABEMA is billing itself as the simultaneous and "fastest" streaming platform for the series. After the premiere, the show moves to a weekly slot starting July 12, airing Sundays at midnight JST on the ABEMA Anime Channel. Each episode stays free for one week.

The series follows a 34-year-old shut-in who dies and is reincarnated as Rudeus Greyrat in a fantasy world of swords and magic, where he resolves to make the most of his second chance. Season 3 picks up as Rudeus begins building a new family, with the opening episodes focusing on Eris's training under the Sword God style. Rifujin na Magonote's original web novel, first posted on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2012 and later published in print as a light novel by MF Books (KADOKAWA), has surpassed 18 million copies in circulation.

Studio Bind returns for production, with Ryōsuke Shibuya directing and co-writing series composition alongside Naoto Taniuchi. Mika Nakashima performs the ending theme "Inori, Owareba," while Yuiko Ōhara returns for the opening "Ketsui no Uta."

Looking Ahead

International fans won't need to rely on ABEMA's Japan-only marathon. Crunchyroll confirmed it will simulcast Season 3 across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India starting July 5.

For readers interested in the source material, Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the complete 26-volume light novel series in English under its Airship imprint. A deluxe hardcover omnibus edition launched in November 2025.

No episode count has been confirmed for Season 3's full run. The Eris Training Arc opens the season, but how far the adaptation will go is anyone's guess.
