What's Inside MAPPA EXPO

MAPPA, the studio behind Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, and Attack on Titan Final Season, is marking 15 years since its founding with a major exhibition at Tokyo's Yurakucho Museum. Famitsu reported the show runs approximately 80 days from September 16 to December 7, 2026, split into two periods with partial display rotations between them.

The venue sits in the basement of Tokyo International Forum, the convention and cultural complex between Tokyo Station and Ginza. The exhibition centers on three of the studio's flagship productions: the Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc film, Attack on Titan The Final Season, and Jujutsu Kaisen. Attendees can view original key animation artwork, newly commissioned illustrations, and immersive displays built around each series.

Exhibition-exclusive merchandise featuring original artwork and new illustrations will be sold on-site, with full product details to come. Visitors need an exhibition ticket to purchase goods. For fans who want a guaranteed collectible, goods set tickets (¥4,000 advance) bundle admission with a limited-edition acrylic panel representing one of the three featured series.

Entry Perks and Ticket Details

Every visitor picks a series at the door and receives an entry bonus: a postcard reproducing original key animation, sealed in an envelope styled after the cut bags studios use to file key animation drawings. Each series has five postcard designs, handed out randomly within the chosen set.

The first-period ticket lottery opened June 19, 2026 and runs through June 30 via Lawson Ticket. The exhibition uses timed entry in 30-minute slots starting at 10:00 AM, with the last admission at 5:00 PM. General admission is ¥2,000 in advance, ¥2,200 at the door, with student and child discounts available.

The first period runs September 16 through October 25. The second picks up October 28 and continues through December 7, with some artwork and displays swapped between the two halves. The venue closes October 26 and 27 for the changeover.

A note for families: MAPPA notes that some exhibition content includes depictions of violence. Children of elementary school age and under may attend but must be accompanied by someone high school age or older.

Looking Ahead

MAPPA was founded on June 14, 2011 by Masao Maruyama, a co-founder of Madhouse. The studio has since produced several globally streamed series.

After the Tokyo run wraps in December, MAPPA plans to tour the exhibition to multiple cities across Japan. No specific regional venues have been announced.

For international fans, MAPPA EXPO is currently confirmed for Japan only. No overseas dates or online components have been disclosed.

The exhibition's official website and X account launched on June 19. Fans eyeing the first-period lottery have until June 30 to enter through Lawson Ticket.
