An eight-volume new edition of Kyousuke Motomi's Dengeki Daisy began releasing on October 26, 2026, according to a Real Sound report on Yahoo! News Japan. The manga's TV anime is scheduled to air for two consecutive cours starting in January 2027. The first volume of Motomi's newest series, Yaoyorozu Toriatsukai Setsumeisho, was released the same day.

Every volume of the new edition has a newly drawn cover by Motomi with a specially treated matte finish. Each volume comes with one character name card, and buyers can listen to newly recorded voice content from Taku Yashiro, who voices Kurosaki in the anime, until 11:59 p.m. on September 25, 2027.

Each volume ends with a five-page conversation between Motomi and the series' editor at the time about how the manga was made, for a total of 40 pages across the set. The edition also collects comments and illustrations originally drawn for the Flower Comics shinsho-size edition, which the report describes as now hard to find.

Readers who collect the application tickets from all eight volumes' obi bands and send them in will each receive a pamphlet showing the seating chart for Teru and Kurosaki's wedding, which is not depicted in the manga. Applications must be postmarked by August 1, 2027.

A TV commercial marking the simultaneous release of both titles was also released. It is voiced by Yoshino Aoyama and Yashiro, who play Teru and Kurosaki in the anime. The two also voice the Yaoyorozu Toriatsukai Setsumeisho protagonist and her coworker. The new series is a fantasy about work and contracts with gods. Its protagonist works at Kamui, a state-affiliated organization that makes contracts with gods, oni and other beings called kashikosama.

Dengeki Daisy ran in Shogakukan's Betsucomi from 2007 to 2013 and was collected in 16 volumes. The report says the series has sold 5 million copies worldwide.
