McDonald's Japan's official X account promoted three new chicken burgers, released October 21, 2026, as "three brothers" for fans to romance in the style of an otome game, according to an Anime Anime report. Commenters compared the burgers' lines to characters from series including IDOLiSH7, Blue Lock and Fullmetal Alchemist, the outlet said.
The October 19 post asked: "Which of the three brothers will you start a romance with?" The image cast the Zakuzaku Juicy Mac, Teriyaki Chicken Juicy Mac and Spicy Zakuzaku Juicy Mac as brothers, each with a character type and a line of dialogue:
- The eldest, a "classic perfect-boyfriend type": "I'm confident I can make you juicier than anyone else can."
- The second son, a "provocative, domineering type": "Keep your eyes on my breading and nothing else."
- The youngest, a "sweet-talking younger type": "Huh, are you blushing? I want to see more of that face."

Anime Anime quoted replies such as "I'll be three-timing them," "I think I'm going with the second brother" and "Just eat all of them!" The outlet led its roundup of comparisons with TRIGGER, the three-member idol group from IDOLiSH7. Others named trios from Blue Lock and Fullmetal Alchemist and several Nijisanji VTubers. The comparisons were not limited to male characters: Uma Musume Pretty Derby also came up. The outlet noted that the account has posted images personifying menu items before.
The three burgers use a whole chicken thigh fillet and are new regular menu items, according to Impress Watch.
