The Exhibition Heads North

After drawing crowds across four major cities since last December, the Animation Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition is heading to three new stops. The anime.eiga.com event listing for the show confirms the touring exhibition dedicated to Jujutsu Kaisen's second season, covering both the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death and Shibuya Incident arcs.

The next leg opens at Daimaru Sapporo's 7th-floor hall on July 22 and runs through August 10, 2026. From there, the exhibition moves to Korinbo Daiwa's 8th-floor hall in Ishikawa prefecture (August 14 to August 31), then wraps its announced run at Sendai EBeanS's 9th-floor hall in Miyagi prefecture (September 5 to October 4).

General admission runs ¥2,000 (approximately $13), with advance tickets available for ¥1,800. Tickets bundled with merchandise are priced at ¥4,200.

What's Inside

The exhibition walks visitors through the events of Jujutsu Kaisen's second season in chronological order, starting with Hidden Inventory/Premature Death before moving into the Shibuya Incident. The display includes original drawings, storyboards, and character design documents from MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man), the studio behind the anime adaptation.

Standout installations include recreated Shibuya Station ticket gates and signage, a meteorite prop from the Shibuya Incident arc, and a life-size figure of protagonist Yuji Itadori. Voice actor Junya Enoki, who plays Itadori, attended the Tokyo preview and praised the figure's detailed facial expressions.

Audio guides feature commentary from four of the series' lead voice actors: Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori), Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro), Yuichi Nakamura (Satoru Gojo), and Takahiro Sakurai (Suguru Geto).

Seven Cities and Counting

The exhibition debuted at Ikebukuro Sunshine City in Tokyo from December 5 to 29, 2025. It then traveled to Matsuzakaya Nagoya (March 18 to April 5, 2026), Hakata Hankyu in Fukuoka (April 23 to May 18), and Hankyu Umeda in Osaka (June 10 to June 29). The three newly announced venues bring the total to seven cities across Japan.

Jujutsu Kaisen is based on Gege Akutami's manga, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. The series reached 100 million copies in circulation during its run, which concluded in September 2024.

Looking Ahead

The Sapporo stop opens in just three weeks on July 22. Ticket details for the Hokkaido venue are expected soon, according to organizer Hokkaido Broadcasting. Weekend mornings at the Miyagi venue require timed-entry reservations in 15-minute intervals.

No additional cities beyond the current seven have been announced. International fans without travel plans to Japan can watch the exhibition's 30-second promotional video on YouTube for a preview of the installations. The Jujutsu Kaisen anime itself streams on Crunchyroll in most international markets, with the English-translated manga available through Viz Media and the Shonen Jump app.
