MYTH & ROID and Aoi Yūki Deliver the Theme Songs

The new trailer spotlights two Imperial Army generals, Zettour and Rudersdorf, hinting at the political and military stakes awaiting Tanya in the season ahead. Alongside the new footage, the trailer debuted both theme songs. MYTH & ROID, who performed Season 1's opening "JINGO JUNGLE," return with "Why? RED induction" as the Season 2 opener. The ending theme, "Weiter! Weiter!" (German for "Onward! Onward!"), features Aoi Yūki singing in character as Tanya Degurechaff.

Sound production on the ending theme comes from Masayuki Nakano of BOOM BOOM SATELLITES and THE SPELLBOUND. In an official comment, Nakano said he composed the track around "the cruelty of the battlefield and the sliver of hope left for humanity," praising Yūki's vocal performance as "overwhelming." Both tracks hit streaming services on July 15, 2026.

New Character Calandro Joins the Cast

The trailer confirms a new character named Calandro (カランドロ), voiced by Eiji Hanawa. Western audiences may recognize Hanawa as the Japanese voice of Jon Snow in Game of Thrones and Connor in Detroit: Become Human. His role in the story has not been revealed.

The Oricon News report also confirmed the broader cast returning for Season 2. Saori Hayami reprises Viktoriya, with Hōchū Ōtsuka and Tesshō Genda back as the Imperial generals Zettour and Rudersdorf who feature prominently in the new trailer. New additions previously announced include Tomokazu Sugita as Mikel, Toshiyuki Morikawa as William Drake, Yōko Hikasa as Liliya, and Haruka Tomatsu as Mary Sue.
