Miki Yoshikawa's vampire romantic comedy manga Hiragi-san's House of Vampires (Hiiragi-san Chi no Kyūketsu Jijō) is getting a TV anime adaptation, Comic Natalie reported on October 31, 2026. A teaser visual was released alongside the announcement, and the anime's official website is live.
The manga runs in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine. Its English title is Hiragi-san's House of Vampires, as listed by Anime News Network.
The story follows a junior high student who lives in a children's care home. He is taken in by the Hiragi family, who are vampires, and begins living with the family's three beautiful sisters. The teaser visual shows the second daughter closing in on his neck.
UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS is credited with planning and production. The Comic Natalie report does not give a broadcast date, cast or animation studio.
In a comment, Yoshikawa said the series has a somewhat dark, aesthetic worldview compared with the author's other works, and that it should suit animation very well. Yoshikawa said the manga's art pays close attention to the dark nighttime world as a contrast to the bright daytime world, and added (translated): "I'd like you to pay attention to the moonlit atmosphere as well."
The anime's official X account, @hiragihouse_PR, opened late on the night of October 29 (JST) without revealing the adaptation. In the lead-up to Halloween, it posted a teaser video and a message titled "An Invitation from the Hiragi Family." The account is now running a giveaway of novelty items featuring the teaser visual.
