Sendai's Sweetest Collab Goes to Tokyo
Sendai-based confectioner Kasho Sanzen — the company behind the iconic custard-cream cake Hagi no Tsuki — announced in a press release that its popular Haikyu!! collaboration products are coming to JR Tokyo Station's Gransta Tokyo event space "Square Zero" from June 1 through June 11, 2026. It marks the first time the collab has been sold in Tokyo, after previous runs in Sendai and at Haikyu!! Week tour stops drew massive demand.
The collaboration plays on a simple bit of wordplay: Tsukishima Kei's surname contains 月 (tsuki, "moon"), and Hagi no Tsuki literally means "moon of the bush clover fields." The pairing first launched in 2024 with original illustrations of the bespectacled Karasuno middle blocker on the packaging. In 2025, the collab expanded to bring in Aoba Johsai's Oikawa Tōru alongside Kasho Sanzen's Zunda Saryo brand — Sendai's famous edamame-paste sweets.
What's on Sale
The pop-up carries two main confection sets, 20 types of collab goods, and a limited shopping bag:

The sale takes place at Square Zero, the event space on B1F of Gransta Tokyo inside JR Tokyo Station's ticket gates. That last part is key — you'll need a valid JR ticket or Suica pass to access the area.
Hours: 8:00–22:00 daily (Sundays 8:00–21:00; final day June 11 only, 8:00–20:00). Hours may change without notice.
Why This Pairing Works
Haikyu!! is set partly in Sendai, making the tie-up with one of the city's most famous souvenirs a natural fit. Haruichi Furudate's volleyball manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2020 across 45 volumes, selling over 75 million copies. The anime adaptation aired four TV seasons between 2014 and 2020, and the 2024 theatrical film Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle became a global hit. A second film, Haikyu!! VS The Little Giant, is confirmed for 2027.
Previous rounds of the Kasho Sanzen collab sold exclusively in Sendai and at touring Haikyu!! Week events. According to the press release, the Tokyo pop-up is a direct response to fans requesting a revival — particularly those who couldn't make the trip to Sendai.
Looking Ahead
The pop-up runs for just 11 days and sits inside Tokyo Station's ticket gates, so plan accordingly if you're visiting Japan in early June. Given how quickly previous Kasho Sanzen collab runs sold out in Sendai, arriving early is probably wise.
For fans outside Japan, Kasho Sanzen has previously sold leftover collab stock through its online shop after in-person events ended — though no online sale has been announced for this Tokyo run yet. The Haikyu!! franchise itself continues to expand internationally, with The Dumpster Battle available on Crunchyroll and Netflix, and the source manga published in English by Viz Media. The next major franchise milestone is the VS The Little Giant theatrical film slated for 2027.
