Park-Exclusive Goods Go Digital
Nijigen no Mori, the anime-themed section of Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park, has been running a full-scale Attack on Titan collaboration event since March 14. The event features immersive night walks, mystery quests, and themed food — but for fans outside Japan or too far from Awaji Island, the merchandise was out of reach.
That changed on May 16, when Nijigen no Mori opened its official online shop to sell the collaboration's original goods. The lineup features items built around new illustrations of Eren, Mikasa, Levi, and Erwin drawn specifically for the event.
What's in the Shop
The standout items are the acrylic stands (four types, ¥1,210 each / approx. $8) and 3-chain acrylic keychains (two types), both of which have been selling well at the park. But the real charm is in the novelty goods that lean into the series' humor:
- Captain Levi's Quote Memo (¥1,045 / approx. $7) — a memo pad featuring the clean-freak captain's signature lines
- Armin's "Inexhaustible" Salt (¥990 / approx. $6.50) — a nod to Armin's famous ocean monologue about salt "you couldn't use up in a lifetime"
- Cube-shaped can badges (eight types, random, ¥385 each) — a complete set is also available for collectors
The product names alone show a level of fan-service detail that goes beyond standard anime merchandise. These aren't generic character prints slapped on keychains — they're built from specific scenes and running jokes that reward longtime readers of Hajime Isayama's manga.
The Bigger Event Behind the Merch
The online shop is one piece of a much larger collaboration running through December 13, 2026. The centerpiece is Attack on Titan THE NIGHT WALK — Beyond the Wall, a 1.2-kilometer walk through an illuminated forest featuring projection mapping and surround sound. Participants take on the role of Survey Corps recruits fighting alongside Eren and the crew, with an original card handed out at the finish line.
Daytime activities include a stamp rally across the park (collecting four character stamps for an exclusive postcard) and a two-part mystery quest. The main quest tasks visitors with tracking down a missing Hange Zoe using scattered clues around the park grounds (¥2,000), while a separate at-home sub-quest (¥1,500) lets remote participants solve a Titan capture operation from anywhere.
The collaboration food menu runs 11 items deep, each themed after a specific character moment: Eren's Resolve Mapo Tofu Rice, Sasha's Stolen Food Plate, Mikasa's Red Scarf Cake, and Captain Levi's Post-Cleaning Tea au Lait among them.
Night walk admission runs ¥3,600-4,000 for adults (approx. $24-26) and ¥1,600-2,000 for children, with a premium bundle covering all activities at ¥6,800-7,200 (approx. $45-47). Children under 4 enter the night walk free.
Looking Ahead
The online shop is live now at shop.nijigennomori.com, and the physical event continues through December 13, 2026. No international shipping details have been confirmed — fans outside Japan may need to use proxy shopping services like Buyee or Zenmarket to order.
Isayama's manga ran in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) from 2009 to 2021 across 34 volumes, with over 140 million copies in circulation worldwide. The series has been published in 18 languages across more than 180 countries. The anime adaptation, which wrapped with The Final Season, streams on Crunchyroll and Hulu in most Western markets.
For fans planning a trip to Awaji Island, the park is accessible from Kobe and Osaka, with the event operating evenings (7:00-10:00 PM, last entry 8:30 PM) and daytime hours varying by season.
