The Apothecary Diaries the Movie: The Late Lady's Treasure will get collaborations with the city of Yokohama and Animate stores across Japan, according to an Anime Hack report published November 3, 2026. A newly released key visual shows Maomao and Jinshi in a Yokohama-themed design.
The Yokohama campaign runs from December 4 to 20, 2026, according to a City of Yokohama press release, which says the city, its tourism association and Yokohama Minatomirai 21 signed a partnership agreement with Toho. The film opens across Japan on December 11.
Anime Hack reports that customers who order a designated menu item or use a designated service at participating shops will receive an original neon-design sticker from a set of seven. In a digital stamp rally, collecting stamps at all 12 locations in Yokohama earns an original novelty while supplies last. The QR code on the back of each sticker also earns a stamp.
On December 12 at 7 p.m. JST, the five-minute Yokohama Night Flowers x Yokohama Green Expo fireworks show at Shinko Pier will center on green inspired by Maomao. A limited-time pop-up shop at ChinaTown80 Hall in Yokohama Chinatown will sell goods with newly drawn campaign art, including big acrylic stands and acrylic frame magnets, with illustration cards in eight designs as a purchase bonus. The moving walkway between Sakuragicho and the Minato Mirai district will carry collaboration decorations from November 30 to December 20. Tie-ins with Yokohama companies and local products are also planned.
Animate's fair runs from December 11, 2026 to January 11, 2027. Buying or reserving series goods at Animate stores or through its online shop earns an illustration card from a set of four. At select locations, including Animate's Ikebukuro main store, customers who order a Gratte or icing cookie can pay an extra ¥500 including tax per item to buy a trading acrylic coaster from a set of six.
A Maomao greeting event is scheduled for December 13, and the entrance plaza on the first floor of the Ikebukuro store's north building will have special decorations from December 11 to 17. The film will also appear as a theme in the Animate app from November 20 to February 28, 2027.
From November 14 to December 31, staff at 47 Animate stores will wear lab aprons featuring Maomao and Jinshi in their film costumes. Shopping bags using the film's teaser visual will also be offered to in-store customers during that period for ¥5 each.
