Julietta Suzuki's manga Otaku Vampire's Love Bite (Oshi ni Amagami) will get a TV anime adaptation, Oricon News reported on November 4, 2026. A visual and promotional video were released with the announcement.
The teaser visual shows the vampire Hina smiling happily in a coffin, surrounded by merchandise of her favorite character, according to a report on Yahoo! News Japan. The same report says the teaser video, posted on the ShoPro Anime Channel on YouTube, uses panels from the manga. A teaser site has also opened.
After 30 years as a shut-in, Hina moves to Japan to pursue her fandom, according to a story synopsis on Yahoo! News Japan, which bills the work as a bloody romantic comedy about an otaku vampire and a slightly sharp-tongued handsome guy. Her neighbor, Kyuta Amanatsu, looks just like her favorite character, and his blood is irresistible to vampires, AnimeTV reports.
The manga has run in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume since November 2022, and volume 11 is scheduled for November 20. Viz Media publishes the manga in English as Otaku Vampire's Love Bite. Anime Corner reports that the anime's studio, staff and cast have yet to be announced.
