A Pink Member Color and a Peach Nickname Carried Momo

Momo took first place with roughly 6 percent of the vote, according to the full results published by Anime Anime. Within the IDOLiSH7 franchise he is one half of Re:vale, the veteran duo the title group looks up to, and a regular on its in-story variety shows thanks to his easygoing personality and snappy banter.

Voters had no shortage of reasons. His stage name is literally the Japanese word for peach. His member color is pink. His favorite drink is a peach-and-apple sparkling juice, and fellow idol Tamaki Yotsuba calls him by the nickname "Momorin." Respondents also pointed to the gap between his soft looks and his sharp athleticism, plus the old-married-couple comedy rhythm he keeps up with his Re:vale partner Yuki. One voter summed him up as a bright, sparkling idol who suits the peach, a superstar of the fruit world.

Kaigaku Lost by One Vote, and His Peach Was a Projectile

Second place went to Kaigaku of Demon Slayer, a single vote behind Momo. Kaigaku trained under the same master as Zenitsu Agatsuma before becoming a demon and taking the rank of Upper Six.

His peach connection comes entirely from his first appearance. In Zenitsu's flashback, Kaigaku bites into a peach, tells his sobbing junior to get lost, and throws the fruit at him. Because the character had no official name at that point, Japanese fans took to calling him "Momo-senpai," or Peach Senpai, a nickname one voter brought up with real nostalgia. Anime Anime notes his battle with Zenitsu in the first Infinity Castle film is still fresh in voters' minds.

Third Place Wears an Actual Peach on His Head

Sweets (御尻川スウィーツ), the class president of the gag anime Ahare! Meisaku-kun, took third with about 5 percent. He worships Momotaro, the folk-tale hero born from a giant peach, and commits to the bit completely: a peach headpiece, an all-pink look, and a laugh that goes "mo mo mo." Voters also enjoyed the detail that his father is an actual peach who is also a wealthy PTA president. A new Ahare! Meisaku-kun series began airing in Japan this July.

Touhou, Pretty Cure, and Princess Peach Fill Out the Top 10

The comments beyond the podium ranged widely. Momoyuki Mogura (百暗桃弓木) of Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole, the recently animated series from the creator of Hozuki's Coolheadedness, drew votes for the peach kanji hiding in his name. Momo Chiyoda of The Demon Girl Next Door was praised as a peach-themed magical girl whose costume and staff carry peach motifs while she herself stays cool and expressionless. Mikado Momodera of Tougen Anki: Legend of the Cursed Blood, a Momotaro Agency member who still lends an ear to the oni he is supposed to hunt, earned votes for his bond with protagonist Shiki. Princess Peach picked up support on the strength of her latest big-screen outing in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Looking Ahead

International fans can revisit most of the ranking without much trouble. Kaigaku's headline fight arrives soon: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle hits Crunchyroll and digital platforms on July 28, 2026, per the official English site. Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole and Tougen Anki: Legend of the Cursed Blood both stream on Crunchyroll. The one gap is the third-place finisher: no international streaming partner has been announced for Ahare! Meisaku-kun's new series, which currently airs only in Japan. Anime Anime, meanwhile, is already collecting votes for its next round of reader polls.
