Hanarabi-zu (歯ならび~ズ), an original character series from Shueisha's shojo manga magazine Ribon, is getting a three-episode short anime animated by DLE, Oricon News reported. Episode 1, "Oasobi" (roughly "Playtime"), premieres at noon Japan time (JST) on October 26, 2026, on the Ribon Channel on YouTube.
The remaining episodes follow in sequence: episode 2 on November 9 and episode 3 on November 24.
Yukari Kaneko created Hanarabi-zu, which runs in Kyaratan Labo, Ribon's project for creating new characters. Every character is a tooth. The series follows the gentle, cute and slightly surreal daily life of the baby tooth Nyūshi-chan, the premolar Shōkyūshi-chan, Mushiba-senpai (a cavity) and others. Oricon says the anime shows the teeth scurrying around on tiny hands and feet, along with their funny conversations.
The voice cast includes Hana Satō and Yūki Urushiyama. FROGMAN, known as the creator of Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume, also voices some of the characters. Benpineko directs.
