STRICT-G will put four new Gundam ripstop jackets on general sale on October 17, 2026, with two designs based on Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack and two on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, according to Anime! Anime!. Pre-orders opened on October 9 at 1 p.m. Japan time at the STRICT-G Online Store on Premium Bandai.
The Char's Counterattack pair comprises an Amuro Ray model in white, colored after the RX-93 ν Gundam, and a Char Aznable model in red based on the MSN-04 Sazabi. Both cost ¥12,100 including tax and come in M, L, XL and XXL.
The Gundam SEED models are a blue jacket modeled on Earth Alliance uniforms and a burgundy Z.A.F.T. version, each with an embroidered patch on the sleeve. These are ¥14,300 including tax, in the same four sizes.
All four use a ripstop fabric that Anime! Anime! describes as lightweight but durable, suited to layering over a T-shirt. The shell and lining are 100 percent polyester, with contrast panels of 85 percent polyester and 15 percent polyurethane, and the jackets are made in China. Prices exclude shipping and handling.
Pre-orders close on October 15 at 11 p.m. Japan time. In-store sales begin October 17 at four STRICT-G shops: Tokyo Odaiba, Tokyo Solamachi, NEOPASA Shizuoka (outbound) and Taga service area (outbound).
