The synopsis, published by Japanese anime news site eeo Media, is only two sentences long. After meeting the demon lord Luminous, Chloe and Hinata set out on a journey as the hero Chronoa. Somewhere along that long road, Chronoa ends up challenging the Storm Dragon to battle.
That short description means a lot to longtime viewers. The Storm Dragon is Veldora, the catastrophe-class dragon Rimuru befriended in the show's very first episode, back when Veldora was still sealed inside a cave. A Five-Cour Season Built for the Long Haul
Season 4 has been airing since April 3, 2026, as two consecutive cours, the first chunk of a planned five-cour run. The remaining three cours have not been given dates yet.
