Dual Shadow Precure Villain Heroines, a new spinoff TV anime in the Precure series, will air in 2027, according to an Anime! Anime! report. A super teaser trailer was released with the announcement.
The teaser, posted on the official Precure YouTube channel, opens on a bright field of flowers before the mood turns. On-screen text reads, in translation, "After all, we're not Precure." A single flower in a spotlight sways eerily in the wind, and suspicious-looking eyes appear in the background.
Anime! Anime! points out that the title includes the word "Villain." The outlet also writes that the series appears to tell a new story with original characters, which earlier spinoffs have not done. The official website lists a 2027 broadcast and credits the copyright to the Dual Shadow production committee.
