The music video for the NONA REEVES song "BAD Beauty!" will be published on YouTube at 4 p.m. JST on October 7, 2026, with the band's three members animated using AI, according to Music Natalie.
The video was produced with TOKYO POPSYS., a collective of AI creators. Following an idea from vocalist Gota Nishidera, the group worked from photo references of the three members and used AI to visualize the song's world, keeping each member's features and character. The result is animated throughout.
In the video, Nishidera, guitarist Kensuke Okuda and drummer Shigeru Komatsu each ride a motorcycle out of a different wasteland and converge on "Neo-Tokyo." After they meet, mysterious twin female dancers tempt them at a fictional club called "RED ZONE CLUB."
"BAD Beauty!" was released digitally in August and is the band's first new song in five years. It is set to appear on an album the band currently has in production. Next year marks 30 years since NONA REEVES made its major-label debut.
