What's Streaming on J:COM

Japanese cable and internet provider J:COM announced on June 29 that its J:COM STREAM platform will carry Summer 2026 anime starting in July. New titles roll out throughout the month, included with the service. The service is Japan-only, but the confirmed slate covers titles that are also available globally on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and other platforms.

The Season's Heavy Hitters

The marquee title is Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3, the latest entry in the isekai franchise built on a light novel series with over 17 million copies in circulation. Season 3 follows Season 1 (January 2021) and Season 2 (July 2023), and marks the anime's fifth anniversary. J:COM STREAM picks it up July 9 with weekly Thursday episodes at midnight JST. Crunchyroll has the international simulcast.

Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2 closes a nine-year gap since the first season premiered in January 2017. Based on a light novel series with over 12 million copies in circulation, the war-fantasy follows a salaryman reborn as a young girl serving as a military mage in an alternate-world conflict. Studio NUT returns for the production. J:COM STREAM starts streaming it July 12, Sundays at midnight. Crunchyroll has confirmed the international simulcast with an English dub.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, The Calamity rounds out the headliners. The fourth and final cour of the revival anime runs 13 episodes starting July 25 on Japanese TV. The first three episodes screened in U.S. theaters in late June. In the U.S., the series streams on Hulu; Disney+ carries it in other markets.

More July Premieres

Though I Am an Inept Villainess, adapted from Satsuki Nakamura's (中村颯希) novel series with over 4 million copies sold, joins J:COM STREAM on July 13. Set in a royal palace, the story follows two young women who swap bodies, triggering a reversal of fortunes at court. Crunchyroll streams it internationally.

I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand arrives July 9 on J:COM STREAM. The isekai series, based on a novel with 4.45 million copies in circulation, follows a hero who defeated the demon king and emerged rejuvenated, living anonymously as a new adventurer. Amazon Prime Video holds early streaming rights, with Crunchyroll also carrying the series.

The rest of July's roster includes From Overshadowed to Overpowered (July 2), Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! 2, and Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3, among others. Oricon News reports that J:COM STREAM dates and titles are subject to change without notice.

Looking Ahead

The Summer 2026 season runs heavy on sequels and returning franchises, and international fans have broad access. Crunchyroll's summer slate covers over 50 simulcasts, including Mushoku Tensei Season 3, Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2, and Though I Am an Inept Villainess. BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War streams on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in select territories. I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand is on both Amazon Prime Video and Crunchyroll.
