A Radio Station Built Out of Chainsaw Man Songs
Kenshi Yonezu Station is a YouTube livestream that runs 24 hours a day for its entire window, cycling through Yonezu's music videos, live footage, and TV performances, so everyone tuning in sees the same video at the same moment and can react in the live chat. The stream went live at 8:00 p.m. JST on Friday, September 18, 2026, and closes at 11:59 p.m. JST on Wednesday, September 23, according to Japanese anime news site Anime! Anime!. The occasion is the one-year anniversary of the Japanese theatrical release of Chainsaw Man the Movie: Reze Arc, which is also the day the film starts streaming exclusively on Prime Video in Japan.
The Chainsaw Man material anchors the playlist. For IRIS OUT, the film's theme song, the station rotates the official music video, the movie's opening sequence, and Yonezu's performance from the 76th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen, the New Year's Eve broadcast that is Japan's biggest annual TV music event. The ending theme JANE DOE, Yonezu's duet with Hikaru Utada, shows up in both of its music videos: the animated version and the live-action version.
KICK BACK, the opening theme for the Chainsaw Man TV anime, gets three videos of its own: the music video, live footage of Yonezu performing the song with Daiki Tsuneta of King Gnu, and a dance practice video.
The Rest of the Catalog
Alongside the Chainsaw Man material, the station also plays Yonezu's songs that have crossed 100 million plays, including Lemon, Paprika, Uchiage Hanabi, Kanden, Flamingo, and Sayonara, Mata Itsuka! The site reports that 18 of his songs have passed that mark, a list that also covers Eine Kleine, LOSER, and Peace Sign alongside KICK BACK and IRIS OUT.
IRIS OUT itself has a remarkable chart record. Released digitally on September 15, 2025, the song set an all-time record for weekly streaming plays in Japan, became the fastest song ever to reach 100 million streams there, and posted the highest weekly point total in Billboard JAPAN history. It peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Global chart, the highest position a Japanese-language song has ever reached. JANE DOE followed a week later on September 22, 2025.
Yonezu's YouTube channel now sits at more than 8.73 million subscribers. The Lemon music video has passed 990 million views, a figure no other Japanese artist has matched.
The Film Behind the Station
Reze Arc, produced at MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan Final Season) and directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, follows Denji, a young devil hunter in Public Safety's Special Division 4 who can transform into Chainsaw Man thanks to the devil's heart he carries. His daily life starts to shift when he meets a mysterious girl named Reze. Kikunosuke Toya voices Denji, Tomori Kusunoki voices Makima, and Reina Ueda voices Reze. The film is based on Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga, published by Shueisha.

The station's hard stop is 11:59 p.m. JST on September 23, 2026, so there are five days to catch it. The individual videos remain on Yonezu's channel afterward, but the shared-chat experience ends with the stream.
The September 19 Prime Video exclusive applies to Japan. In the United States, the film is listed on Crunchyroll and on digital purchase and rental storefronts, so international fans who want to pair the movie with the stream already have options. Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man manga is published in English by Viz Media and is available on the Shonen Jump app.
