Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara Suit Up in Gyu-Kaku Uniforms

The centerpiece is officially called the "Jujutsu High First-Years' Collab Tsukimi Beef Kalbi Yakiniku Set Meal" (呪術高専1年ズのコラボ月見牛カルビ焼肉定食), and it lands at fast-casual chain Gyu-Kaku Yakiniku Shokudo on August 26, according to a report from Japanese anime news site Anime Anime. The dish is beef kalbi seared on a hot iron plate and finished with a rich egg yolk, served with rice and soup for ¥1,298 tax included. The "tsukimi" (moon-viewing) in the name refers to that yolk topping, a seasonal flourish Japanese restaurant chains bring out for autumn.

For collectors, the extras are the real order. Each set comes with a food pick printed with newly drawn art of the Tokyo Jujutsu High first-year trio, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki, wearing Gyu-Kaku staff uniforms. Every order also includes one original clear card, drawn at random from eight designs and sized at roughly 59 by 86 millimeters, the standard trading-card footprint. You can't choose the design, takeout isn't available, and the campaign ends early once supplies run out.

A Food-Court Celebration for the Anime's Fifth Anniversary

Gyu-Kaku Yakiniku Shokudo is the fast-casual spinoff of Gyu-Kaku, the grill-it-yourself yakiniku chain that international fans may recognize from its overseas Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ restaurants. The Yakiniku Shokudo format specializes in food-court set meals, which is why this collaboration takes the shape of a single teishoku, or fixed set meal, rather than a full grill-table menu.

The campaign is part of the celebrations around the anime's fifth anniversary. MAPPA's adaptation of Gege Akutami's manga premiered in October 2020, and the franchise is now deep in the Culling Game era. Season 3, covering the arc's first half, began airing in Japan in January 2026, and a teaser trailer for Season 4, which handles the back half, is already out on the official TOHO animation YouTube channel. The campaign's "Jujutsu High First-Years" branding, highlighted in the Anime Anime report, puts the trio that started it all front and center for the anniversary menu.

Looking Ahead

The collaboration runs from August 26 through September 30, 2026 at Gyu-Kaku Yakiniku Shokudo locations nationwide in Japan. It is dine-in only, and no version for Gyu-Kaku's overseas restaurants has been announced.

On the anime side, Season 3 is currently airing in Japan, with previous seasons streaming internationally on Crunchyroll. Gege Akutami's original manga is available in English from Viz Media and on Shueisha's Manga Plus app, so fans outside Japan have plenty of ways to catch up on the first-years even if the kalbi set stays out of reach.
