Preorders are open for ten Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba tail charms featuring Tanjiro Kamado and the nine Hashira, according to an Anime! Anime! report published on October 16, 2026. Release is scheduled for around January 22, 2027.
The charms are part of Hōkago Mates (放課後メイツ), a merchandise series with a retro-inspired look. Each of the ten designs pairs a fluffy tail with a metal charm modeled on that character's Nichirin sword guard.
Alongside Tanjiro Kamado, the lineup covers Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, Kyojuro Rengoku, Tengen Uzui, Muichiro Tokito, Mitsuri Kanroji, Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa and Gyomei Himejima.
Each charm costs ¥1,870 including tax and measures roughly 19 cm in total length. Preorders are being taken at Animate stores nationwide, Animate's online shop and Movic's mail-order shop, among other retailers. The product listing notes that the release and specifications may be changed, delayed or cancelled.
