ABEMA has announced its full lineup of free anime for the fall 2026 cour, headlined by on-demand access to every episode of The Apothecary Diaries from Season 1 through the latest Season 3 episode, free until the end of January. The service set out the lineup in a PR TIMES release published on October 16, 2026.
More than 70 new and continuing titles are available on ABEMA's anime channels during the October 2026 cour as free broadcasts or free streams, according to the release. It counts more than 65 titles in free broadcast and 15 with exclusive or earliest streaming. Individual listings note that, in most cases, the latest episode stays free for one week after it airs.
The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 began on Friday, October 2, 2026 at 24:00 JST and continues weekly in that slot, with free streaming of each new episode starting at the same time.
Among the exclusives, Reincarnated as a Sword II streams only on ABEMA, one week ahead of its terrestrial broadcast, in a Wednesday 24:30 JST slot that began September 30, 2026. A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season 2 also streams free and exclusively on the service one week ahead of terrestrial TV.
On the free broadcast side, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus airs Wednesdays at 25:00 JST from October 14, 2026, Keroro Gunso started Tuesdays at 21:00 JST on October 6, and the Nikko and Kegon Falls arc of Togen Anki started Fridays at 24:30 JST on October 2. The release also points to several series receiving their first anime adaptations.
