Wataru Kato Adds Another Lead to a Stacked Resume
Wataru Katō (加藤渉), who voices Kabru in Delicious in Dungeon and Rentarō Aijō in The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You, plays protagonist Yūsuke Takemura (武村雄介). Takemura is a former office worker who discovers he's mysteriously immune to zombie attacks after the world collapses overnight.
Yuno Azuma (東ゆの) voices heroine Mitsuki Fujino (藤野深月). Azuma is a newer voice in the anime industry, affiliated with talent agency Raccoon Dog.
The teaser PV reported today by manga news site Comic Natalie pairs animated footage with both actors' character voices for the first time and confirms the revised January 2027 premiere window.
A 'Zombie Panic Action' With an Edge
In a World Full of Zombies I'm the Only One Who Doesn't Get Attacked (ゾンビのあふれた世界で俺だけが襲われない), commonly shortened to Zon Ore, adapts the light novel by Rokuro Uraichi (裏地ろくろ), published under Frontier Works' Nox Novels label with illustrations by Saburō. Described as a "zombie panic action," the story uses its protagonist's inexplicable immunity to expose raw questions about survival and human desire in a world stripped of its rules.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Chihiro Masuda runs on COMIC Ragchew, Frontier Works' full-color digital manga platform.
The anime was originally slated for a 2026 broadcast but has been pushed to January 2027. It will air on AT-X, a Japanese satellite channel.
Kazuya Fujishiro (藤代和也) directs at studios Acca effe and Frontier Engine, sharing animation production duties. Yasushi Hirano (平野靖士) handles series composition, with Megumi Ishihara (石原恵) on character design and ISAO composing the music. Naofumi Jimbo (神保直史) serves as sound director.
Looking Ahead
Zon Ore premieres in January 2027 on AT-X. No additional Japanese broadcast networks or international streaming partners have been announced. The source novels and manga have not been licensed for English release.
