The Zeta Transforms, and the Mk-II Comes in Two Colors
The drawing covers three kits from Bandai's Real Grade (RG) line: the RG 1/144 Zeta Gundam at 3,630 yen (about $25), and two versions of the RG 1/144 Gundam Mk-II at 3,080 yen (about $21) apiece. Together they account for both mobile suits Kamille Bidan piloted over the course of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.
The Zeta kit is the centerpiece. According to the report from Japanese anime news site Anime Anime, the kit reproduces the mobile suit's transformation, letting builders shift the title machine into its Waverider flight form. The Gundam Mk-II offers a choice of factions instead: a white-and-blue AEUG version, matching the resistance group Kamille joins, and a darker Titans version, the colors the suit wore under the show's antagonist force. All three are 1/144 scale snap-build kits rated for ages 15 and up.
Not Exclusives, Just Scarce
Bandai's product notes are explicit that none of the three are limited-edition items, and all of them will also be sold at regular model-kit retailers in Japan. The lottery exists because Premium Bandai, Bandai's official online store, has only a limited allocation of each kit, so the drawing covers the site's own stock rather than the kits' entire production run.
Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam arrived five years after the original Mobile Suit Gundam ended its run, picking the Universal Century timeline back up seven years after the first series. It paired new leads like Kamille with older versions of returning characters Char and Amuro, and Anime Anime's write-up notes that the show's mobile suits, with their transformation gimmicks and unusually detailed mechanical lore, earned strong fan support.

Entries are open now via the individual product pages on Premium Bandai and close at 3:00 p.m. JST on Monday, August 17, 2026. Winners will be announced on August 25, and all three kits are scheduled to ship in September 2026. The listings sit on the Japanese storefront, and the report doesn't mention international availability. Since these are standard retail kits rather than exclusives, though, the lottery isn't the only way they'll circulate.
