Navier has supported the emperor and served her country as the "perfect empress," but Sovieshu, who has lost his heart to his concubine Rashta, tells her he is divorcing her. Navier then demands a remarriage of her own, to Heinrey, a prince of the neighboring Western Kingdom, and opens her own path despite the emperor's merciless cold treatment, Rashta's harassment and swirling political intrigue.
The teaser PV released with the announcement presents the four characters' voices along with animation footage. Character art was also released, pairing Navier with a red rose, Heinrey with sweet peas, Sovieshu with a lily and Rashta with baby's breath.
Alphatart, SUMPUL and HereLee each contributed a handwritten message and a newly drawn illustration. Alphatart said they are looking forward to seeing Navier and the others moving vividly on screen.
The webtoon is distributed on LINE Manga and has surpassed 2.97 billion cumulative views worldwide. To mark the anime adaptation, LINE Manga is offering 20 episodes of the series free from October 9 to 15, 2026.
