The official website for the One-Punch Man anime has announced that Season 3 Part 2 will air in January 2027. The same post unveiled a key visual, the first promotional video and the opening theme.
JAM Project performs the opening theme, 「Never Done～最強VS最恐～」, continuing from Part 1, according to Dengeki Online. The subtitle sets 最強 ("strongest") against 最恐 ("most feared"), two words pronounced the same way in Japanese. The song goes on sale on January 27, 2027 at ¥1,650 including tax, according to PASH! PLUS.
In a comment carried by PASH! PLUS, JAM Project said the title holds two ideas: a contest unlike any before it, and anticipation about the unknown reaches of strength that lie beyond the fight. The group also said it wanted to convey Saitama's cool and Garou's crazed intensity in that matchup.
The promotional video is posted with English subtitles on the Bandai Namco Filmworks YouTube channel. It shows S-Class heroes under attack and driven into a corner, as Famitsu reported, along with Tatsumaki, Psychos and an awakening Garou, per Denfaminicogamer.
Part 2 had already been announced for 2027 alongside a teaser trailer and teaser visual, according to Animate Times, which also noted that Season 3 began airing in October 2025. Viz Media said Season 3 will be coming to North America, LATAM and Oceania.
