Shanks' Crew Gets the Premium Treatment
Bandai Spirits is giving One Piece's most enigmatic pirate crew their own dedicated Ichiban Kuji lottery, and the figure lineup is stacked. Anime Anime reported that Ichiban Kuji One Piece: Red Hair Pirates goes on sale June 6, 2026, at FamilyMart locations, bookstores, hobby shops, the Mugiwara Store, and the Ichiban Kuji official shop. Online sales follow two days later on June 8 at 11:00 AM. Each draw costs ¥790 (tax included, roughly $5 USD).
The A through D prizes are all MASTERLISE EXPIECE figures — Bandai Spirits' premium sculpt line — covering the Red Hair Pirates' core four. The A Prize is Shanks himself at approximately 21 cm, while the B Prize features his vice-captain Ben Beckman at 21.5 cm. The C Prize brings sharpshooter Yasopp to life at 20.5 cm, and the D Prize is Lucky Roux at 22 cm — notably his first-ever Ichiban Kuji figure.
Beyond the Big Four
The lower tiers round out the set with variety. The E Prize offers two "Hakoniworld" diorama pieces capturing iconic Shanks moments in miniature at roughly 7 cm each. The F Prize features palm-sized "SOFVICchu" soft vinyl figures of Shanks, Luffy, and Uta — three designs at around 10 cm.
Practical goods fill out the remaining prizes: an embroidered handkerchief and jacquard half-towel assortment (G Prize, five types), the ACLLECT series with 12 character designs of Red Hair Pirates members at 8.5 cm (H Prize), decorative magnets spanning the crew and associated characters (I Prize, 10 types), and an acrylic charm assortment (J Prize, 10 types).
The Last One Prize Recreates Chapter 1
The marquee collectible is the Last One Prize — the bonus figure awarded to whoever draws the very last ticket at a given location. Titled "Shanks & Luffy Revible Moment," this 15 cm piece recreates the emotional scene from One Piece's very first chapter: Shanks entrusting his straw hat to a young Luffy. For a franchise that has now surpassed 500 million copies in circulation worldwide, that opening scene remains one of its most defining moments.
A separate Double Chance Campaign runs from the sale date through the end of September 2026, offering 100 winners a "TO BE CONTINUED THE GIGANT NAME" figure at approximately 35 cm — a sculptural take on the series' signature end-of-chapter title card.
Looking Ahead
The in-store launch on June 6 means fans in Japan can start hunting immediately at FamilyMart and participating retailers, with the online option opening June 8. The timing lands right as the One Piece anime is deep into its Elbaf arc, which began airing in April 2026 following the conclusion of the Egghead arc in late December 2025. No international retail availability has been announced, though Ichiban Kuji products occasionally appear on import sites and through Bandai Spirits' global partners after the initial Japanese window.
