The MF Books editorial team announced on X that Mushoku Tensei: Redundant Reincarnation volume 4, due out November 25, 2026, will conclude Rudeus Greyrat's story, ABEMA TIMES reported on November 4. The team also announced a dedicated website and commemorative projects.
Rifujin na Magonote's Redundant Reincarnation depicts events after the main Mushoku Tensei story. Kadokawa's product page lists three stories in the volume. The English glosses below are descriptive, not official titles:
- Lucie no Yūutsu ("Lucie's Melancholy"), a newly written episode about the marriage of Rudeus's daughter Lucie
- Nanahoshi no Gurume ("Nanahoshi's Gourmet"), which shows regular contact with Rudeus and the others from the perspective of Nanahoshi, who lives in a sky fortress
- Saigo no Sudachi ("The Last Leaving of the Nest"), about the children becoming independent
Kadokawa also lists a special edition for November 25 with an acrylic stand featuring a new illustration by Shirotaka. The illustration released for volume 4 shows a gently smiling Rudeus with his three wives, according to a Yahoo News Japan article.
The dedicated website is collecting messages about the series, its characters, Rifujin na Magonote and Shirotaka, with submissions scheduled to appear on a special page on November 25. The site also announces a limited-time shop selling goods featuring the original illustrations.
Animate's shop page says the shop will run from November 28 to December 13, 2026, in the fifth-floor satellite space of its Ikebukuro main store. Its Sendai, Nagoya, Fukuoka Tenjin and Osaka Nipponbashi locations are listed as supporting stores. Customers who buy at least ¥5,500 worth of the original books, including tax, will receive a short story booklet.
ABEMA TIMES cites fan responses including "Thank you, Mushoku Tensei" and "I want it to go on forever" (translated).
MF Books' official X account had already announced on July 2 that the fourth volume would be the last, and Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the novels in English, Anime News Network reported.
