Megahouse is taking pre-orders for a figure of Matilda Ajan from Mobile Suit Gundam, based on a new illustration by illustrator and manga artist Tsukasa Kotobuki, who also supervised the figure. According to Anime! Anime!, "GGG Series Mobile Suit Gundam Matilda Ajan feat. Tsukasa Kotobuki" is available at Bandai's official online store Premium Bandai for ¥22,000 including tax, with shipping scheduled for June 2027.
In Mobile Suit Gundam, Matilda Ajan is a lieutenant with the Midea supply corps. The sculpting and paintwork evoke the atmosphere of Kotobuki's illustrations.
Interchangeable head and arm parts reproduce two poses: Matilda wearing her cap and saluting, and holding the cap under one arm in a gesture as if sweeping her hair up. Along with the painted figure, the set contains one swap head part, one set of swap arm parts, and a dedicated base.
The figure stands about 250mm tall, is made of PVC and ABS, and is rated for ages 15 and up. Prototype sculpting is credited to Inui and paintwork to Ekoshi. Orders are capped at three units per customer, with one unit per order, and the product is handled by Premium Bandai, hobby shops across Japan, and online stores.
Pre-orders opened at 10:00 a.m. JST on October 8, according to a Hobby Watch report. Megahouse's GGG series product listing gives a release date of late June 2027.
