The TV anime Magical Girl Raising Project restart airs on TV Tokyo from October 5, 2026, Mondays at 26:00 JST (2 a.m. Tuesday), according to ASCII.jp's fall 2026 anime feature published October 11.
The series follows Pechka, a magical girl whose magic makes food delicious, who is forced into a mysterious virtual game with 16 other magical girls she has never met. ASCII.jp's synopsis says the game was supposed to be safe training to improve the girls' abilities, but is instead the start of a rigged nightmare and the restart of a new "Magical Girl Raising Project." The anime adapts Asari Endou's light novel series, published by Takarajimasha.
Hiroyuki Hashimoto directs at SynergySP, with production assistance from MarvyJack, and Takao Yoshioka handles series composition and scripts. Both are returning from the first Magical Girl Raising Project anime, a 12-episode series that premiered on AT-X on October 1, 2016, according to Anime News Network.
Honoka Inoue voices Pechka, and Nao Tōyama returns from the first anime as Snow White. The cast also includes Yoshino Nanjō as Pfle and Aoi Yūki as Lapis Lazuline. Minori Chihara performs the opening theme "No tears here," and Daisy×Daisy perform the ending theme "ReMind."
BS Fuji carries the series from October 7, Wednesdays at 24:00 JST, and AT-X from October 7, Wednesdays at 20:30, with repeats Fridays at 8:30 a.m. and Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. U-NEXT and Anime Hodai stream episodes exclusively early, Mondays at 26:30 from October 5, and other streaming services follow in sequence from October 8, Thursdays at 26:30. ASCII.jp notes that broadcast and streaming days, times and start dates may change.
